CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL 2007 and 2008

The 2007 Christmas Tree Festival, despite some very inclement weather at times, was a huge success with 3000 visitors over the three days. £4,500 was raised towards the upkeep of the fabric of Holy Cross and another £1500 was raised for PCC and Choir funds. Visits to both the Governors Room and the Bell Tower proved popular.

The 58 decorated and illuminated Christmas trees, ranging in height from 6 – 20 feet, and all decorated by local businesses, charities, groups, individuals, schools and town organisations made for a very splendid and spectacular sight. The tree decorated by Sunflower Day Nursery themed ‘Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam’ was voted as the favourite tree.

The Governors of Holy Cross Crediton and the Fabric Fund Raising Committee would like to express their gratitude and thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2007 Christmas Tree Festival in any way.

The dates and opening times for the 2008 Christmas Tree Festival are Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th December. Opening hours will be 11am - 6pm (Thurs & Fri) and 10.30 am - 6pm (Sat). All enquiries should please be directed to Glenda Hill Tel: 01363 773669 or email: glenda.hills@yahoo.co.uk
