Sister Act was formed at Holy Cross in October, 2003. It exists for women of pre-retirement age and aims to promote friendship and mutual support. Sister Act meets fortnightly for bible study, discussion, prayer, relaxation and social activities. The meetings are usually held at the Rectory on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 8.00pm until 9.30pm. If you have not been to Sister Act before and would like to give it a try please feel free to come along to any session. A donation of £1.50 – £2.00 per week is requested to cover costs of materials, visiting speakers and refreshments.
